East Ridge intersection at South Moore extension and Ringgold Road to close for three days

Starting Monday, Talley Construction crews will close the intersection at the extension of South Moore Road and Ringgold Road in East Ridge for work in the city's ongoing $8.6 million-plus multimodal project.

Officials said Friday in a news release that work will begin Monday and is expected to be completed within three days.

Once completed, the intersection will be reopened, officials said.

During the closure, all southbound traffic attempting to enter the extension of South Moore Road will be redirected to McBrien Road or Tombras Avenue, according to the release. Vehicles attempting to enter East Ridge Crossing shopping center will be directed to the McBrien Road entrance. Vehicles attempting to enter Regions bank will be directed to the Ringgold Road entrance, the release states.
