Bradley County authorities seek two suspects in early-morning shooting

Bradley County authorities are seeking two men involved in an early-morning shooting on Lois Street that left a man there with injuries requiring him to be airlifted to Erlanger hospital in Chattanooga.

Deputies got the call to the 1900 block of Louis Street at 1:44 a.m. Wednesday, according to a news release from the Bradley County Sheriff’s Office. Lois Street is just outside the Cleveland city limits near APD 40.

According to accounts provided at the scene, the man shot — who has not been named — was sitting in his vehicle when two men approached and ordered him into his residence, Bradley County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Paul Allen said in the release.

A physical altercation happened before one of the men shot the victim, authorities said.

Allen said the men fled the scene after taking the victim’s vehicle, a silver 2003 Toyota 4Runner.
