Clark joins FTC Development as director of development

Thomas Clark has joined FTC Development, formerly Fidelity Trust Compnay, as the director of development.

Clark has worked for 17 years in real estate development, project management and construction oversight. In his most recent role, Clark managed his own organization that worked with companies to develop properties across the Southeast, specializing in discovering and redeveloping historic buildings to breathe new life into iconic sites.

Throughout his career, he established relationships with national brands, including 7 Eleven, Sprouts, and Harris Teeter. He was integral in the refurbishment of the John Ross Building for the new Steam Logistics office in Downtown Chattanooga, as well as the renovation of the Ross Hotel to become the initial Tomorrow Building. Clark is still involved with the continued development of Chattanooga Prep, working to help the school’s growth.

“We are beyond grateful to have Thomas join our team,” FTC Development CEO Matt McGauley said in an announcement of Clark’s appointment. “With his history and connections, we believe he will be an incredible asset to the company. We look forward to seeing what he’ll help us accomplish as we continue growing.”

FTC Development in a fourth-genertion family business has more than 100 years of experience in commercial development within the Chattanooga region.
