Chattanooga police found a man with life-threatening injuries after responding to a call that a person was shot early Friday morning in the 1700 block of Reggie White Boulevard, according to a news release.
Emergency responders took the man to the hospital, the release said.
Police confirmed he later died.

The shooting investigation is now a homicide case, according to the release, and police ask that anyone with information call 423-643-5100.
