Police: Man, 27, dead after shooting in Chattanooga on Tuesday

A man shot in Chattanooga died from his injuries, according to police.

Officers responded to the 2300 block of Windsor Street, near Memorial Hospital, around 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release.

They found a 27-year-old man with life-threatening injuries, police said. He died after being taken to a local hospital, according to the release.

Police ask anyone with information related to the shooting to call the homicide tip line at 423-643-5100.
