Chattanooga area McDonald’s owner/operators recently donated thousands of dollars to Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The donation was the result of the Happy Meals for The House fundraising effort and generated $13,911.15 for the charity. The always-popular Shamrock Shake fundraiser generated $9,387.50 for the Ronald McDonald House, according to a news release.

The money will go to support the mission of Ronald McDonald House, which provides support to families whose children are hospitalized. The services it offers helps keep families together when the most vulnerable are in need of care.
