Good morning, warm-weather friends. As we begin, please note the request from Marguerite McCammon, on the broad topic of bread.
“This summer I want to perfect some kind of bread as a specialty of my kitchen. I don’t care whether it’s yeast rolls or crusty bread or biscuits or a regular loaf. Would you ask your readers to share their favorite recipes for bread of any kind? And then I can choose.”

The next request is from the still-lost-and-not-yet-found file, but it has a new twist.
“Please tell me how to make sugar-free or low-sugar preserves, jams or jellies. I don’t want the kind made with artificial sugar. I would also like a recipe for freezer jam.”
