Every year, the Down Syndrome Community of Greater Chattanooga (DSCGC) hosts the Chattanooga Buddy Walk around the month of October, which is Down Syndrome Awareness Month. This event is DSCGC’s biggest fundraiser and brings families and loved ones together for a fun afternoon of celebrating the lives of individuals with Down syndrome. This year, the event was hosted at the First Horizon Pavilion. Funds raised surpassed $50k, and over 1,000 people were registered, making it the best year to date.
