A water main break occurred at the intersection of South Willow Street and Bailey Avenue on Thursday afternoon, according to a news release from Chattanooga Public Works.
South Willow Street and Bailey Avenue are closed and the reopening of the roads has not been announced, the release said.
Emergency responders are working to repair the break, according to the release, and ask that drivers use different routes in the meantime.
