Reader concerned about Fleischmann
Dear Rep. Fleischmann,
How are you?
As one of your constituents in Southeast Tennessee, I have been worried about you as I have neither seen or heard anything from you about the ongoing chaos in Washington these last four months. If you are not well, I am so sorry and wish you a speedy recovery. If you are fearful and hiding, this would be an excellent time to reappear and perform the job the voters sent you to Washington to do. Yes, the voters who put you in Washington are also the people waiting on you to do the right thing, not necessarily the “Republican” thing, meaning standing up to Trump.
Certainly you have heard that this new administration is acting illegally and unconstitutionally in ways that threaten our democratic institutions?
