Early voting for Chattanooga’s municipal elections is underway, and the Chattanooga Times has made decisions on endorsements for the City Council and mayoral races, as well as a referendum on lifting the requirement for city workers to live within Tennessee’s state borders.
Early voting ends Thursday, and Election Day is March 4.
No endorsements will be made for City Council Districts 2, 4 or 7 as Vice Chair Jenny Hill, council candidate Cody Harvey and Council member Raquetta Dotley are all, respectively, unopposed.
Endorsements for Districts 6, 8 and 9 seats will be published Saturday and those for mayor and the referendum will be released Sunday.
