Our final batch of Chattanooga City Council endorsements, in the ongoing municipal elections, are in, this time for Districts 6, 8 and 9.
Endorsements for Districts 1, 3 and 5 were published on Friday. There will be no endorsements for Districts 2, 4 and 7 as the lone candidate in each of those races is running unopposed.
Endorsements for mayor – a contest between incumbent Mayor Tim Kelly and challenger Chris Long – and a referendum on lifting the requirement for city workers to live within Tennessee’s state borders will be published Sunday.
Early voting ends on Thursday, and Election Day is March 4.
