Weekend parking pass launched for downtown Chattanooga

Visitors to downtown Chattanooga will now have the option to pay one flat fee for parking in city-owned spaces on weekends, according to a press release from CARTA.

“Local business owners have identified parking costs as a key barrier for visitors, especially families and out-of-town guests planning full-day experiences,” the release said. “The weekend parking pass addresses this concern by providing affordable, hassle-free parking for extended stays.”

The pass has an introductory rate of $25. The fee covers parking from 6 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday on city streets, Chattanooga Parking Authority-owned lots and in Shuttle Park Northshore and Shuttle Park North parking garages.

Each pass is good for one weekend only.

Passes can be purchased at chattanoogaparking.org and managed through the ParkMobile app. The website also provides information on which lots and garages are included.
