Good morning, Fare friends. Champ, who often talks food with his buddy Kingfish, has a new idea and needs some help. “Two weeks ago we started a Tortilla Tuesday tradition. We invited our kids who live up the road and a neighbor or two. First week, it was tacos. This week, two kinds of enchiladas. Most of us favored the ones made with corn tortillas, but there was still one flour tortilla holdout. If we are going to continue this tradition every Tuesday, we are going to need some more recipes using tortillas. And we are going to need one pretty soon. Hope your readers will help.”
The discussion of food as medicine continues briefly.
If soup does the trick, certainly other foods have the same power. Most recently, a health-care professional offered a conversational opinion.
“Do you recommend probiotics when taking antibiotics, and if so, which ones work?” asked a reader.
The professional’s quick response, “You can get probiotics in food.”
