Signal grateful for assistance

One lane of Highway 127 up Signal Mountain collapsed on Dec. 9, creating what could have been a devastating emergency. However, no one was injured — and thanks to the help of many — road repairs were made expeditiously and inconveniences to those who live on the mountain were minimal. The Town of Signal Mountain is grateful for the assistance of the following:

* TDOT for its quick response, excellent communication and professionalism throughout the process.

*Thompson Engineering for engineering and oversight of the repair.

* Wright Brothers Construction for executing the repair.
