Krier makes trek from Colorado
Dawn Krier traveled all the way from Strasburg, Colo., some 1,291 miles with the Colorado Crush. The team flew in this weekend, and a few families drove the long distance so the team would be able to get to and from the fields.
“We plan to travel up the Lookout Mountain sometime this week,” said Krier.
Other Crush parents said that the team really enjoyed the private tour of the Tennessee Aquarium that followed the opening ceremonies Sunday night.
“The humidity is going to be something to battle this week at the tournament as Colorado may be hot, but not this kind of hot,” explained Krier. “The awnings that are over the bleachers are going to help a lot!”
