DON’T MISS THIS

4: Reel Paddling Film Festival World TourSince 2006, the Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour has been showcasing the very best paddling films — and this year it’s coming to Manchester, Tennessee. Attendees will be treated to live music in addition to the adventure-inspiring flicks. We bet this year’s top-notch selections will whet your appetite to explore rivers, lakes and oceans, push extremes, embrace the paddling lifestyle and appreciate the wild places. Score tickets at mcccc.com or call 931-723-8283 for more information. Twenty percent of your ticket price will help send Boys Scouts on their own river adventures.

4: Tennessee Wetlands Festival

The second annual event in nearby Athens,Tennessee, celebrates the wild, wonderful and wet outdoors. Hourly nature classes, interactive walks, local vendors, a wetland art contest, live music, kids activities and artisan crafts will make for some splashy fun that day.
