DALTON, Ga. – Calhoun High School football coach Hal Lamb decided at halftime to change his approach.
His Yellow Jackets trailed Dalton High 14-10, in part because the short passing game Calhoun used to try and stretch the Dalton defense had lost more yards than it gained.
The second half was a different story, and Calhoun rebounded for a 27-14 win.
“By halftime I had seen enough,” Lamb said. ‘We decided to run the ball right at them.”
