Your Friday at a glance:
- Weather: A sunny day with a high of 92.
- What’s coming soon: Food City is gearing up to open not one, not two, but three new stores in the Chattanooga area.
- What’s helpful: The city of Dalton is making COVID-19 antibody treatments available to residents through a drive-up clinic.
- What we’re eating: Doughnuts of course. Krispy Kreme has upped its daily offering of doughnuts to two for those with proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
Good morning, Good Day readers!
One of the best things about living in Chattanooga for me is that I’m sandwiched between two parks.
While I wish the swings were less busy some days, seeing at least 50 kids every evening out with their families enjoying the free outdoor amenities is refreshing.
And soon residents of the Oak Grove community off East 23rd Street will get to experience something similar after the neighborhood was named a 2021 recipient of the National Recreation and Park Association’s park revitalization project.
