Chattanooga police have arrested a suspect in the Erlanger car vandalism incident, according to an arrest affidavit from the Chattanooga Police Department.
Andrew Dewayne Gee, 32, was arrested around 10:30 p.m. Thursday on nine counts of vandalism.
The tires of at least 20 vehicles were punctured or cut while parked in the garage beside Erlanger Medical Center in the 900 block of East Third Street, according to a report from the Chattanooga Police Department.
A second report filed on Thursday states that Gee was allegedly angry at a family member who works at Erlanger.
Gee was then taken into custody after a manager at the DGX store on Market Street called police to report that Gee smashed the toilet in the restroom.
Gee has been booked into the Hamilton County Jail on a $55,000 bond, according to the report.
