Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga is one step closer to its mission statement — “Everyone deserves a decent place to live” — thanks to their “Raise the Roof” luncheon at the Chattanooga Convention Center. This year’s event featured great people, food and fundraising, including a donation-match challenge of up to $50,000. Since its start in 1986, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga has built almost 300 houses and completed almost 100 home repairs for Hamilton County families.
