Let’s handle our business. Buckle up, we have a lot of to attend to.
To the Rushmores:
Rushmore of Dons — Don Corleone (better Don, Michael or Vito?), Donkey Kong (great suggestion, gang, and narrowly over DonKey, Shrek’s sidekick) Don Quixote, and with all apologies to “Donny Ballgame” Don Mattingly and our current president, I’ll go with Barney Fyfe himself, Don Knotts. (Side note: Don is a sneaky hard Rushmore name, because that’s without Don Shula, Don Johnson, Don Cheadle, Don Trump and Don Henley).
Rushmore of former NFL QBs who played in the Big Ten in the Super Bowl Era — Brady, Brees, Bob Griese and Russell Wilson over Jim Everett and Len Dawson. (Side question: Former Big Ten QB who has made the most coin in NFL contracts? Yep, Michigan State product Kirk Cousins.)
Rushmore of old-school Hollywood royalty from the black and white era — Clark Gable, Humphrey Bogart, Charlie Chaplin and Bing Crosby. Women include both Hepburns (Katherine and Audrey), Shirley Temple and Ingrid Bergman. (Marilyn and Liz Taylor started in black and white — same with John Wayne — but were big-time in color too.)
