The Chattanooga Lookouts will open 2025 at AT&T Field for potentially the last time with a crop of young talent.

Last season’s 45-90 record matched a franchise-worst record by winning percentage. Not since 1886 — that’s 139 years ago — have the Lookouts had a winning percentage as low as .333.

Infielders Sal Stewart and Edwin Arroyo highlight a group of four Cincinnati Reds top prospects looking to change that.

“Winning is the only thing that matters,” Stewart said. “I don’t care if it’s the minor league, low-A, Arizona Complex League. Winning is a habit and when you start to lose, that becomes a habit.”

The Lookouts open the season Friday night with a three-game set on the road against the Rocket City Trash Pandas. The home opener is on Tuesday, April 8, when the Birmingham Barons come into town, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15 p.m.
