Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences has named Jeremy Henderson as its new boys’ basketball coach.
Henderson spent last season as the boys’ coach at Soddy Daisy High School and won more than 100 games in five seasons as head coach at Sweetwater High School prior to that.
“I’m honored to join CSAS and excited to work with such a dedicated group of student-athletes,” Henderson said Wednesday afternoon in a news release. “This school has a rich tradition, and I look forward to building on that legacy with hard work, discipline, and team unity.”
Henderson played a role in teams winning five TSSAA district championships over a six-year span at two schools, having worked as an assistant at Tyner Academy in the 2023-24 season after his five years at Sweetwater.
He guided Soddy Daisy to a 20-10 record this past season, when the Trojans reached the Region 3-3A quarterfinals.
