If ever there were a Chattanooga building that was built to last, 3221 Harrison Pike might be it.
That’s the headquarters of the Home Builders Association of Chattanooga, which that body has put up for sale. The HBAC is asking $1.1 million for what the listing calls a “well-constructed, two-story office building” of nearly 6,000 square feet.
Per the listing, the building’s main level features four private offices, two conference rooms and two restrooms. The lower level has an open floor plan with a galley-style kitchen and two more restrooms.
Across Highway 153 from the Amnicola Highway exit, the listing says visibility “is simply as good as it gets, with 180-degree views from Highway 153.” The listing claims that more than 87,000 vehicles pass by the property on an average day, with “great access to or from downtown and throughout (Hamilton) county” via Highway 153.
