ATHENS, Ga. — The Georgia Bulldogs owned the fourth quarter and beat Texas. Again.

Georgia quarterback Gunner Stockton threw four touchdown passes and ran for a score to outplay counterpart Arch Manning as the fifth-ranked Bulldogs strengthened their potential postseason standing by overwhelming the 10th-ranked Longhorns 35-10 on Saturday night at Sanford Stadium.

The Bulldogs, who have won six straight games, outscored the Longhorns 21-0 in the fourth quarter.

“It’s the approach we take,” said Kirby Smart, whose 10-year tenure as head coach at his alma mater has produced three Southeastern Conference titles (2017, 2022, 2024) and two national championships (2021, 2022). “We’re going to dominate and try to win the fourth quarter.”

After Texas trimmed Georgia’s lead to 14-10 in the third quarter, Stockton’s 30-yard touchdown pass to London Humphreys, followed by a successful onside kick, allowed the Bulldogs to put the game away.
