A donation from Chattanooga’s Environmental Solutions will help a local nonprofit treat residents affected by substance use disorders.

Environmental Solutions donated $5,000 in February to the Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services, or CADAS, its third consecutive year supporting the council.

CADAS provides services including residential treatment, outpatient programs, medical detoxification and long-term recovery support for people and families affected by substance use.

“We believe in investing in organizations that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. CADAS provides hope, healing, and second chances for individuals and families across our community, and we are proud to stand behind their work,” Pat Carroll, president of Environmental Solutions, said.
