Soddy-Daisy mayor urges vote for Hullender
A few months ago, I had the honor of meeting Tony Hullender as he was preparing to launch his campaign for state representative. While sharing information about the city with Mr. Hullender and discussing the issues affecting our community, I quickly learned he is a listener and a problem solver. He is not looking to push his own agenda but to truly represent District 27.
Having served as a volunteer firefighter for over 50 years and as Soddy-Daisy fire chief for 10, I have full confidence in his ability to support and secure funding for essential services such as firefighting across the district.
Mr. Hullender views the work of a state representative as a partnership with the people of District 27, focusing on the issues we face and the problems we need to solve as a district.
His background is exceptionally strong. Tony Hullender wore the uniform in defense of our country as a member of the United States Army and didn’t stop fighting for what’s right as he advanced through the legal profession, ultimately serving as a Tennessee deputy attorney general.
