Health-care bill a step to socialism
‘Twas the day before Christmas when all through the Senate,//A health care bill was passed not knowing what was in it.//The party of “no” so the Democrats say,//Wanted to get it right even if it meant delay.
Obama had said it is the thing to do,//So Pelosi and Reid said we must too.//It must be passed the Democrats exclaimed,//Surely if it is wrong Bush can be blamed.
People are dying was the reason for the hurry,//But now there may be too many to bury,// Passing this bill with all its flaws,//Was not what Americans wanted from Santa Claus.
Passing this bill was not very wise,//Because for the Democrats it may be their demise.//It will reduce the deficit Obama declared,//But the explanation of how has yet to be shared.
