John T. “Jack” Lupton, who died Sunday at age 83, reshaped Chattanooga as a cheerleader and fundraiser for scores of local projects, including the world’s largest freshwater aquarium in downtown Chattanooga and one of the country’s best golf courses in Ooltewah.
