Chattanooga Mayor Ron Littlefield is looking for input from the City Council on his pending “transitional” police chief appointment. In a memorandum e-mailed to council members Friday, the mayor said he has a list of candidates that includes two retired officers from outside Chattanooga, two retired officers from the Chattanooga Police Department, one retired military officer and “several current employees.”
