It’s been a good 16 hours for the University of Tennessee football program.
Cameron Clear, the 6-foot-6, 265-pound tight end/offensive lineman from Memphis Central announced Tuesday that he will sign with Tennessee.
Clear picked the Volunteers over Alabama, Duke and Memphis.
Rivals ranks him as the nation’s No. 18 offensive tackle prospect and a four-star recruit. Clear played tight end in high school.
Clear will be able to sign his national letter of intent on Wednesday, the first day of the signing period.
