Houston defeats Siegel in AAA

Houston’s Olivia Harrison scored a goal early in the second half, and the third-ranked Lady Mustangs advanced to the Class AAA state semifinals with a 1-0 victory over Siegel, in a clash between the past two state champions.

Houston is the two-time defending champion, while the Lady Stars won the title in 2008.

CAK’s Sara Dillon scored twice, with Paige Hoffman scoring the third goal for the Lady Warriors (22-1-1). Hume-Fogg’s goal came on a CAK own goal in the 12th minute.
