Baylor School point guard Kaleigh Clemons has been named one of three finalists for the state’s Division II-AA Miss Basketball award.
The 5-7 junior, who averages 13 points, 7.1 assists, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 steals, is joined by Ensworth’s Jordyn Cambridge and Brentwood Academy’s Sydni Harvey and is the first Lady Red Raiders player to be a finalist for the award in more than 10 years. Van Buren County’s Lakelyn Bouldin (Class A) was the area’s only other finalist.
The TSSAA Miss Basketball award winners will be announced following the state championship games in each classification, with D-II taking place February 28 at Lipscomb University.
