Who’s your favorite “Game of Thrones” character?

Am I a bad millennial because I didn’t watch “Game of Thrones”? I got through Season 2 and lost interest. At that point I really liked the dragon lady (Khaleesi?).

Which GOT character do you think you would be?

I don’t know enough about the characters to know which one I would be, but I think I would choose to be the younger sister (Arya?). She wasn’t letting anyone tell her she couldn’t do something. I appreciate that!

Who would you have put on the Iron Throne?

Judging from Seasons 1-2, I’d choose Jon Snow. But then all I see after the finale is how he abandoned his dog, so now I’m not so sure anymore.

Last book you read and/or show you binge-watched?

I just finished the book “The Great Alone” by Kristin Hannah.

If you ruled the world (or Chattanooga), what would you change?

If I ruled the world (or Chattanooga), I would prioritize protecting our natural spaces through securing better funding for conservation, climate change reduction initiatives and education.

Who would be on your advisory council?

My team would be full of personal and professional mentors, including my old colleague Zachary, my team at Lula Lake, influential advocates like Yvon Chouinard, and most importantly, a committee of all my favorite pups, led by my best girls Beta and Chichi.

Is ruler a position you’d even want?

Absolutely not. But realistically, could anyone rule the world and actually get anything done? I don’t think so. Aside from that, I don’t want to deal with that amount of pressure.

What drives you professionally and/or personally?

My love for the outdoors, passion for outdoor recreation, and the urgent need to protect what wild spaces we have left drive me both professionally and personally.

What’s one thing you’d really like to accomplish?

Has that goal changed over the years? Being a plan-oriented person, I have always wanted to push my boundaries by packing my bags and hitting the road with no plans whatsoever. I’m sure it’s not much of an accomplishment for many, but giving up control can be tough for me.
