In Tennessee, Conversation Hearts rank as the most popular Valentine’s Day candy – but this year, you may have noticed they were harder to find. That’s because in 2018, Spangler Candy bought Sweethearts producer Necco. Ever since, the new owners have struggled to find a reliable printer to stamp those signature sayings. Spangler hopes to have production back to normal next year, but in the meantime, enjoy those limited quantities at limited retailers!
