COVID-19 vaccinations, cases and deaths in the Chattanooga region

The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Tennessee increased to 39,149 on Friday, up 1,396 from Thursday's total of 37,753, according to the Tennessee Department of Health's daily virus update. There have been 577 deaths from the virus statewide.

Hamilton County has 2,260 confirmed cases and has reported 29 deaths related to COVID-19, according to the Tennessee State Health Department.

In Tennessee, Bledsoe County has reported 616 cases and 1 deaths; Bradley County 414 cases and 3 deaths; Coffee County 102 cases and 0 deaths; Franklin County 69 cases and 3 deaths; Grundy County 58 cases and 1 deaths; Marion County 55 cases and 4 deaths; McMinn County 196 cases and 17 deaths; Meigs County 32 cases and 0 deaths; Polk County 34 cases and 0 deaths; and Rhea County 259 cases and 0 deaths.
