Text Request, a Chattanooga-built software platform that allows consumers and businesses to engage one another via text message, is giving away its text-to-order service Chattanooga restaurants who’ve been forced to eliminate dine-in eating due to the coronavirus.

“In these trying times, we feel obligated to help our fellow local businesses do whatever they can to stay up and running,” said Text Request co-founder and CEO, Brian Elrod. “Curbside pickup and delivery are new business models for many restaurants, and with so many Chattanoogans stepping up to support them with an influx of orders, some are struggling to manage increased demand. Text Request was built to support such needs.”

Those interested in this free service are encouraged to text “Nooga” to (423) 218-0111. Once they’ve done that, they will be guided through the Text Request setup process for their business.

Restaurants that sign up for this service will enjoy a shared dashboard where all orders and customer communications can be viewed and tracked by all staff members.
