Camden Sewell has won more than 83% of his decisions as a Tennessee pitcher.

He has decided to put that staggering stat on the line.

The former Cleveland High School standout announced Tuesday evening that he will be returning for a second senior season with Tony Vitello's Volunteers, posting on Twitter, "Rocky Top one more ride."

Sewell was among the many successful pieces to Tennessee's stellar 57-9 season earlier this year that ended in an NCAA super regional setback against Notre Dame, posting a 7-1 record and a 2.52 earned run average in a career high 26 appearances. He was not, however, among the 10 Volunteers selected in last month's Major League Baseball draft.

In his four seasons in Knoxville, he has racked up a 15-3 record with a 2.53 ERA.

"I love this place, and Coach V is the best that I've ever seen do it," Sewell said back in April. "His personality is something else, and as a player, there is nobody I would rather play for. He does a great job at what he does, and it's fun to be around the park every day. He's just really fun to be around.

"For anybody who's younger, this is the place that you want to be."

Sewell is best known for his dominance of Florida in two consecutive Southeastern Conference tournaments. He pitched six innings in a 4-0 blanking of the Gators during the 2021 semifinals and threw five scoreless innings in the 8-5 triumph in this year's championship game.
