Good Deed: Morning rush hour fundraising supports mental health group

Last month, Raceway Gas on Signal Mountain Road again teamed up with a mental health organization as part of Mental Health Awareness Month.

This is the second year that employees at this store supported this cause by donating a percentage of money for every gallon of gasoline sold during a morning rush hour. This year, the recipient was the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and its Chattanooga chapter. NAMI, the nation’s largest mental health organization, is dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by these health conditions.

Thank you to Raceway for helping fight the stigma of mental illness and provide local support and education for Chattanooga families.
