American Airlines will increase the number of daily nonstops between Chattanooga and Dallas-Fort Worth to four starting in the summer, according to the Chattanooga Airport.

American made the announcement about the added flights to Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport as part of its 2024 summer schedule, the airport said.

The increased number of flights not only boosts direct business and leisure travel, but travelers can also connect to more than 10,000 destinations including 26 international countries through the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, officials said.

Chattanooga Airport has embarked on a $28 million passenger terminal expansion, the most expensive ever at Lovell Field, that's set to open in early 2024.
