As a student with a 4.0 GPA, Tito Williams is smart enough to know when not to overthink things.
After a recent visit to the Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Illinois, the Bradley Central senior defensive back realized he had found his next home.
“It was a pretty easy decision after making that trip,” said Williams, who announced his verbal commitment to the Wildcats on Wednesday night. “While I was there, their whole staff and really everyone I met made me feel like a priority. It just felt like a family atmosphere that I wanted to be a part of.”
Rated the No. 11 overall prospect in this year’s Times Free Press Dynamite Baker’s Dozen, the 6-foot-2, 185-pound safety is a three-star prospect who leads Class 6A’s top-ranked and undefeated Bears in tackles with 48. He also has 5.5 tackles for loss.
A rare four-year starter at Bradley Central, he is also part of an all-star secondary that includes Boo Carter and Marcus Goree, who have both committed to Tennessee.
