With just three weeks remaining before the high school football season kicks off, veteran Central High School coach Curt Jones has been suspended by Hamilton County Schools.
County schools communication officer Steve Doremus confirmed the suspension, which began on July 26, in a statement on Wednesday.
“(Curt) Jones has been suspended by Hamilton County Schools pending an internal investigation into financial management issues,” Doremus said in an email. “As this is an ongoing investigation, we will not be commenting further.”
Jones did not return messages for comment.
