Deputies arrested a 12-year-old Dalewood Middle School student Thursday after she allegedly threatened to kill everyone at her table, according to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office.

The student was taken to jail and charged with making threats of mass violence on school property, the sheriff’s office said in a release.

There was no credible threat to any students or faculty, the sheriff’s office said.

The student reportedly stood up during class Thursday morning and made the threat, according to the sheriff’s office.

The student is the latest to be charged in a string of reported threats to schools in Hamilton County.

On Wednesday, Sheriff Austin Garrett told county commissioners that 22 students had been arrested related to threats since school started Aug. 7.
