Mike Keith has his sidekick for Tennessee football games on the Vol Network.

His sizable sidekick.

Tennessee announced Thursday afternoon that Keith, who will handle play-by-play duties for the radio broadcasts, will be joined by former Volunteers offensive tackle Ramon Foster, who will serve as his color analyst. Foster played during the 2005-08 seasons as a 6-foot-6, 325-pounder, with the 2007 Vols winning the Southeastern Conference’s Eastern Division championship before losing the league title game to eventual national champ LSU.

Foster then became a reliable component of the Pittsburgh Steelers, starting 145 of the 160 games he played in from 2009-19.

“He’s the perfect person to continue the tradition,” Keith said. “You’re going to be able to tell who we’re for on the broadcast, because it’s the Vol Radio Network, and yet we’ll be professional.”
