SUMMERVILLE, Ga. — With a handful of elite collegiate football programs after his immense talent, Kadin Fife pledged his commitment early, as the junior four-star defensive lineman deemed the University of Tennessee as “the place to be.”

The 6-foot-5, 290-pound Fife has emerged as the second-highest regarded junior prospect in the Greater Chattanooga area as Chattooga High School defensive enforcer is tabbed as the No. 283 prospect nationally and the 32nd best defensive lineman for the class of 2027.

Fife, who committed to the Volunteers on November 21, has been overpowering the past two seasons, totaling 16 sacks in as many games for the Indians.

“I committed to Tennessee because the coaches actually took time to recruit me and build relationships,” Fife said. “Coach Heupel and I have a great relationship. I feel like Rocky Top is the perfect fit for me. I have visited the campus four or five times and the coaches either text or call me every day.

“The biggest thing is I love the culture and atmosphere surrounding the program. The Vol Walk is my favorite Tennessee tradition, and I can’t wait to be up there.”
