Thank you, hardworking Walnut Street Bridge workers, for your incredible efforts in restoring “Chattanooga’s Eiffel Tower.”
For those of you who are not watching daily, this group of talented craftsmen start in the dark before 7 a.m. and are continuously working until darkness after 6 p.m., regardless of the weather. They are in constant action, climbing all over the cold steel, with no breaks except a brief lunch. Many of them travel from out of state and only get home for the weekend.
We really appreciate your efforts for our great city. Can’t wait to celebrate your efforts when it is complete.
