Erlanger hospital will host a series of workshops Monday for women who’ve experienced cancer.

The objective of the Look Good Feel Better event is to offer support for managing altering side effects and appearance changes related to cancer treatment.

The free event is available to women age 18 or older who are undergoing, will soon undergo or recently completed cancer treatment, according to a news release.

“It is an opportunity for women to sit in a room with other women experiencing hair loss, loss of eyebrows and eyelashes, fatigue, anemia, weight gain or loss, etc. and share and support each other while learning how to look good and feel better as they go through treatment,” Janet Kramer-Mai said via email. Kramer-Mai is Erlanger’s director of oncology.
