A second man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting on Orchard Knob Avenue two years ago, officials said.
Arterrius Dejuan Allen Sr., 35, was accused by a grand jury Tuesday of intentionally planning and carrying out the killing of Cordarrius DeQuan Bailey, 24, on June 14, 2023. Another man, Terry Scott Anderson, 26, was arrested and charged with murder a month after the shooting.

When police responded to the shooting, officers found Bailey with serious injuries. Bailey died after being taken to a hospital, according to police. He was shot 11 times, and three bullets were recovered from his body, according to a medical examiner’s report. Bullets tore through his wrist, elbow, shoulder, hip, thigh and more, and he had grazes on his chest and calf.
Bailey was the youngest and only boy of four siblings. He enjoyed sports, attended Brainerd High School and was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, where he sang in the youth choir, according to an online obituary.
