A 39-year-old man died after being struck by a vehicle at 30 N. Market St., police said.
Officials said a 19-year-old woman was driving south early Sunday when her vehicle struck the man in the street, and the driver was unable to stop in time. Witnesses told police they had seen the pedestrian in the roadway before the crash.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene, and his name has not been released. Police said his family has been notified.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators, police said.
